Building a Research Legacy in Bowie
Flourish Bowie was founded as Chesapeake Cardiac Care by Barbara Hutchinson, MD in 2003. The site expanded in 2023 to include clinical research and is now Flourish Bowie. The team at Flourish Bowie, in the metropolitan area of Baltimore, MD, and Washington DC, conducts Cardiology studies under the leadership of Drs. Collins and Hutchinson. Dr. Hutchinson is the Chairwoman of the Board for the Association of Black Cardiologists and her practice has been serving a diverse patient population since its founding. Dr. Collins is an Interventional Cardiologist and has extensive expertise in cardiovascular research.
