• Be diagnosed with atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD) and/or Type 2 diabetes (T2DM). Examples of ASCVD include:
  • A heart attack or heart procedure (such as stent or bypass) at least 3 months ago
  • A stroke at least 3 months ago
  • History of blocked arteries in the heart, neck, or legs
  • History of leg circulation problems (such as surgery, stent, or amputation)
• Be on a stable lipid-lowering therapy for at least 1 month
• If diabetic: HbA1c <8.5% and medications stable for at least 1 month
