Basic Criteria:
- Have had a heart attack at least 6 months ago
- Be on a stable dose of cardiovascular medication(s)
Answers Must Be No:
- If female of childbearing potential and sexually active, are you pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning on becoming pregnant?
- Have you had a heart attack in the last 6 months?
- Do you have unstable or severe chest pain?
- Do you have a history of or planned Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting?
- Have you experienced Post-MI Pericarditis in the last 3 months (inflammation of the heart’s outer lining following a heart attack)?
- Have you been diagnosed with Class 4 Heart Failure?
- Do you have Uncontrolled Type 1 or Type 2 Diabetes?
- Do you have a history of a bleeding disorder or do you have an increased risk of bleeding?
- Have you had an episode of post-heart attack pericarditis in the past 3 months?
- Have you been treated with any of the following in the past 6 months?
- IL-17 inhibitor, TNF inhibitor, IL-6 inhibitor, IL-1β inhibitor, methotrexate, cyclosporine, apremilast, colchicine, systemic steroids (topical steroid use is allowed).
- Have you participated in a clinical trial or received an investigative treatment in the last 6 months?
- Have you had Cancer in the last 5 years?
- Non-melanoma skin cancer is allowed.
- Do you have HIV, Hepatitis B, or Hepatitis C?
Answers Must Be Yes:
- Do you have a BMI of 40 or less? (Calculate here)
- Are you on a stable dose of cardiovascular medication(s)?
- If you are fertile and sexually active, are you willing to use a highly effective form of birth control throughout the study?
