Healthy Volunteer Vaccine Self-Scheduler
Basic Criteria
- Are you 18- 64 years of age?
- Is your BMI between 17-35?
Answers Must be NO
- If female, are you currently pregnant or nursing?
- Do you have any respiratory disease requiring daily medications like COPD or uncontrolled asthma or uncontrolled cardiac arrhythmia?
- Do you have any liver disease, autoimmune disease, any other medical conditions or currently taking any prescription medications?
- Have you had any heart attacks in the past 6 months?
- Have you had any CABG surgery or stent placement?
- Do you smoke more than 1 pack of cigarettes per day or use nicotine products daily including vaping? (1 pack of cigarettes/day= 1 high-nicotine vape pod/day (40-50mg nicotine)
- Have you abused any alcohol or illicit drug in the past year? (including marijuana)
- Do you have any HIV, hepatitis B or C?
- Have you ever been treated for hepatitis C?
- Have you had any cancer in the last 5 years (excluding basal and squamous cell carcinoma of the skin)
- Do you have any history of hypersensitivity or severe reactions to previous vaccinations or products containing polyethylene glycol?
- Do you have any allergy to antibiotics like kanamycin such as neomycin, streptomycin, tobramycin, gentamycin?
- Have you had any immunosuppressants for more than 14days in the last 6 months? Intra-articular, inhaled, nasal and topical steroids are allowed.
- Have you received any immunoglobulins or blood products in the past 60days?
- Have you donated any blood products or received investigational drugs in the past 30days?
- Are you currently enrolled in another clinical trial with investigational medication?
- Have you received any vaccines within the past 28days?
- Have you had any fever of 100.4 degrees or higher in the past 24hrs?
- Do you have any planned upcoming vacations in the next 45 days?
Answers Must be YES
- If woman of childbearing potential, do you agree to use one of the following methods of contraception for at least 30 days prior to study?

- Double barrier, IUD, oral pills or any other injectable/implantable/insertable hormonal birth control products.

- True abstinence, vasectomized partner

- If woman and not of childbearing potential, are you:

- post menopause for at least 12 months OR
-
- surgically sterile defined as: hysterectomy, bilateral oophorectomy, tubal ligation, salpingectomy or Essure placement.
- Are you able to understand and comply with all study requirements (including committing to the 30-Day screening period, dosing Days 1 & 29, required phone call visits & paper diary compliance?
- Are you ok with the 2-3 week waiting period in between the screening visit and your planned Day 1 visit due to sponsor required safety meetings?
- Are you able to read and sign a consent form?
- Are you willing to abstain from donating blood products for the duration of the study?
- Are you willing to refrain from receiving any licensed vaccines 28 days prior to and after scheduled injection visits?
- Are you willing to abstain from using tobacco products, alcohol, illicit drugs, ingesting caffeine or xanthine-containing products prior to your scheduled visits and during the visit? (e.g. coffee, tea, cola drinks, chocolate)?
