Prior to Signant, Roger was at global CRO PPD, a part of ThermoFisher. During his time there, Roger founded and was Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Accelerated Enrollment Solutions (AES) division, which offers biopharmaceutical sponsors and contract research organizations best-in-class clinical trial site conduct and patient access solutions. In his role, he was responsible for AES’s strategic direction and financial growth as its chief executive and played a pivotal role working closely with research sites and pharmaceutical organizations to solve patient recruitment challenges by utilizing digital technology and data science. Roger has also held a number of senior management positions for Acurian, Kozmo.com and Sony Corporation.

In addition to her eleven years at PRA, Ms. Baddour worked at Pharmaceutical Product Development, Inc. (PPD) from November 1995 to May 2007. She served as CFO at PPD from 2002 until her departure to join PRA. At PPD, she also managed the company’s M&A and information technology strategies. Before being named CFO at PPD, she was Treasurer and Chief Accounting Officer.

Ms. Baddour serves on Genstar’s Strategic Advisory Board and advises the firm in the area of healthcare. She is also currently serving on the board of directors of Flourish Research, Signant Health, Waters Corporation (Waters), and Cyroport.
Waters Is one of the world’s leading specialty measurement companies focused on improving human health and well-being through the application of advanced analytical science technologies. Cyroport provides full-scale supply chain management for the life science industry.

From 2015 to 2017 he was the Vice President, US Immunology for the institutional business at Baxalta through its acquisition by Shire PLC with responsibility for the plasma derived therapies portfolio. He also spent over ten years at Abbott/AbbVie where he served as General Manager, HUMIRA for the U.S. Institutional markets.

John was President and CEO of Bioclinica, a leading provider of medical imaging, clinical technology and global clinical site network development services. Under his leadership, the company doubled in size, completed four acquisitions and expanded its customer base to more than 400 companies, including the top 100 bio-pharmaceutical companies and top ten CROs.

Prior to Bioclinica, he was Senior Vice President and Worldwide Head of Development Operations at Pfizer. He was responsible for global drug development of more than 500 clinical trials per year. He was a member of the Portfolio Strategy and Investment Committee, Co-Chairman of the Clinical and Medical Excellence Innovation Board, Co-Chairman of the early Development Committee, Chair of the Enterprise Precision Medicine Steering Committee, and member of the Worldwide Research & Development (R&D) Executive Leadership Team. John also served on the executive taskforce that redesigned Pfizer’s global R&D organization in 2011. Before joining Pfizer, he was Group President of ICON plc’s Global Clinical Research Division and also held executive positions at ICSL-Clinical Studies, Parexel International Corporation and Hoechst Marion Roussel (now Sanofi).

As part of his role as a Healthcare Strategic Advisory Board Member to Genstar Capital, John advises the firm on healthcare investments and serves as a board member on their portfolio companies (Flourish Research and Chairman of Signant Health). He is also on the Board of Advarra and Chairman of the Board of the Precision Medicine Group.

John has authored or co-authored 85 published abstracts and peer-reviewed articles in cardiovascular pharmacology, clinical pharmacology, and drug development. He has received numerous industry awards and was recognized by Pharma Voice as one of the 100 Most Inspirational People of 2016.

John received a Bachelor of Science in Experimental Psychology from the University of Santa Clara and a Doctorate in Cardiovascular Psychophysiology from the University of Tennessee. He was a National Institute of Health Postdoctoral Fellow in Cardiovascular and Clinical Pharmacology at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center. He is a Board-Certified Diplomate in Applied Pharmacology and a Fellow of the American College of Clinical Pharmacology.
